    Hey kingtomas92

Both Steam users and non Steam users both require a Ubi.com login to play online. So, yes you should be able to play against Steam users if you do not have a Steam purchased version of the game.

Does uplay support Rainbow Six Vegas 2 ?

I recently restarted up Vegas 2 only to find out all my progress was wiped .
It looks like it does not store your profile or progress data in the game install folder.
    I have reinstalled windows since.

Will uplay support the save my game progress this time around so I dont have to do all the SP and coop missions again

All saved data is saved locally on your system. There is not any online save support for this game.

If you have deleted, uninstalled the game or reformatted your system all of your progress will be lost.

so me and my friend both bought the game last week. He bought it over steam, and i bought a retail version through amazon.
now his version is v1.03.101 and mine is v1.03.18 and we cant find each others games. neither through online play nor through Hamachi+LAN

according to you it should be possible to play as a non-steam player with a steam player, so why do we have 2 different versions? will there ever be a fix?

HMMMM,glad I didn't lay down money for GR Future Soldier if it has more bugs that Vegas 2. MG didn't think any game could be less fininised than Vegas2. Made a comment long ago I would never buy another UBI Game without watching the forums for reports. This is an example of a decission well made. I have friends playing Future Soldier and all they do is complain they can't join each other for a game. As for patriots I will set back and watch but think it will be another unfinished title like the last releases from UBI. As it stands right now I am a big fan of BF3,not to say it is without problrms but at least they are continuing updates to solve them.UBI you have been told many times and many differnt ways to get your **** togehter but you keep putting out the same old product. What will it take a complete boycot from the PC Community?

If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
