I just discovered something new in Double Agent!!

I played a round of Splinter Cell Double Agent's multiplayer on X360 and I discovered something new to me.

I was playing as a SPY on the Boss House map.
There is a very tiny square room on the 1st floor with vents, table in the middle and a hack objective in the corner. It's very risky and
stupid to go for that terminal but very rewarding at the same time. The other two splinter cell agents chose to hack the terminals on
the 2nd floor and like always on that map, they got the full attention of the 3 Mercs.

I chose to hack that terminal. I went there and turned the room's lights off and started hacking. I knew I only had 10 seconds
of hassle-free hacking because the Mercs are busy on the 2nd floor (they never expect someone will try and go for this terminal)

10 seconds went by, I stopped hacking and decided to escape rather than hide. I ran to the window, saw a flashlight. turned back and tried
running for the main corridor, saw another flashlight. I was trapped with no where to go and I can't hide in the vents because they are closed
and there is no exit to them. So I went under the table and my character went into a prone animation (can't hack, use smoke or flash).

The Mercs were smart, they didn't use that stupid tactic where they enter a room blasting everywhere to make a spy panic and run so he
would appear on their HUD with a bright white outline (i fell for that many times lol). I was silent, they were silent. They sensed me with their
proximity sensor and they knew I was still there and they obviously started looking up at the vents. THAT'S WHEN IT HAPPENED!!!

I heard Sam Fisher saying "hey", "yo", "psst"
at first I thought to myself "okay, I'm playing way too much splinter cell" THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN!!

I play in a big living room with the lights turned off (of course oOo) so I turned around to see if one of my family is playing a prank because
they know I love Splinter Cell way too much even my dad who's a retired general who doesn't like games and think they are a waste
of time knows about my love for this awesome series lol

So, it happened a third time. Then i realized it was my character!! he says these words in Sam Fisher's voice when you're in a prone animation!

I don't have a PVR to record an Xbox game and my steam version crashes when i launch the multiplayer mode (not compatible with Win7)
so i can't use Fraps and yes i have SCDA on xbox, xbox360 and PC oOo

So, if you got the extra time, load up SCDA and start a private match and go prone under a table (not crouch) and turn up the volume. You'll hear
Sam Fisher say "yo" "hey" "psst"

Sam : Tell me about the meeting.
Merc : The meeting? Why do you want to know about the meeting?
Sam : that's not the way it works. I ask you a question, and you give me an answer that prevents me from breaking your neck.

Maybe it happens when you don't move for a certain period of time like in SC1 where Sam turns around and knocks on the screen??

^ i’ve tried that, stood still for 5 seconds till the lights on my online character turned off, nothing. Hid in a vent, nothing. Climed a pipe and stood still, nothing. Only happens when you are in a prone position (not crouched)

I think that is very important part of video games. I renember when I was playing COD4, I aimed at the Gaz and his face looked ******ed. Your teammaes look normal when you play the mission, but when you stop, they act like zombies.

Sane thing happends in Conviction. Actually, this feature in Conviction was perfectly made. In fact your characters (Sam, Archer and Kestrel) always move their heads and sooner or later Sam will start talking:
"It's when I stopped, I relized that I could sleep for a while."

Interesting stuff,me and my friends found a interesting glitch on the PS3.The glitch requires 2 Mercs and 1 Spy to be done. The spy needs to have health packs equiped.First merc knocks down the spy and the spy uses 1-2 health packs and the merc grabs him,the second merc has to run into the first merc and the spy gets knocked down, the spy needs to use up health packs, the second merc grabs him,now the first merc has to do the same and run into the second merc holding the spy, after that the merc gets knocked back and the spy remains hanging in the grabbed position. Its quite funny

No, it was scary for a couple of seconds lol

So, in DA's multiplayer, you can't confront a Merc head-on, it's suicide. They made the Mercs more powerful and the Spies more agile but
with no offensive gadgets or melee attacks what so ever (you have to jump on them or grab them from behind)

I was distracted by Sam's voice for like 5 seconds. There were two Mercs in the room. Both blocking an exit and had their flashlight up
at the vents. One of them turn off his flashlight and activated his EMF vision (his visor turned bright blue). I switched my NVG off
    so I wouldn't get detected.

So, one Merc was blind with his EMF vision, that's when I decided to make my escape thinking i had a better chance of escaping with
one active Merc. I had two flashbang grenades left. I threw my first one when my character broke free of the prone animation and ran
for the corridor. The 3rd Merc appeared in-front of me at the end of the corridor, luckily I had my last flashbang.

There was a vent on the top left side in the middle of the corridor. Threw my gadget, sprinted for the vent and went inside but then...
i... was greeted by a grenade launcher -_-

A moment later, I discovered that there were 2 players playing as Mercs and the Merc who killed me was... a bot
NOT ONLY IT USED IT'S BOT SKILLS TO NEGLECT THE EFFECT OF MY FLASHBANG. IT USED IT'S AWESOME AIM-BOT SKILLS TO
LAUNCH A GRENADE FROM FAR AWAY INTO A VENT... WITH PINPOINT ACCURACY lol

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to successfully download any file from the terminals at that match so I started using my self as bait to help the
other two splinter cell agents who had downloaded the files but to no avail, because I had the only bald character in the match so the
2 Mercs knew I just died and re-spawned and they ignored me but we won at the end. (no thanks to me lol)
