Move on this is rocksmith.

That's what I was thinking. Flamebait at best, blind fanboyism at worst. Probably best to ignore it and move on.

You will see when it comes out. Your going to find that bandfuse is more kid friendly or caters to the younger audience compared to rocksmith. Watch the bandlist, if your seeing a lot of newer stuff that you hate now as your 20,30,40yrs old compared to your son or daughters taste then you'll have your answer. Call me a troll if you want but look at the facts. This is still a new market and they are going to create something that appeals to a younger audience. If you don't see this by now your blind or under 20.

I guess I might see your point a little more clearly if:

    1) the crap my kids and their friends listen to on the radio these days had any actual musical instruments in it (i.e. guitars)
    or
    2) my kids didn't already enjoy playing RS.

I just don't see where B/F is going to find a bunch of new stuff to put in a guitar-based game that RS doesn't already have. I could see your point if RS was all 70s hair bands, but it's not. Not only that, but several of my son's (11 yo) favorite RS songs are the really old stuff - like Smoke on the Water and More than a Feeling. What are you suggesting B/F is going to include to beat that? Bruno Mars?

I think that this is not so much a target audience issue. I mean look at the songs that are listed for Bandfuse so far there are alot of songs half of them are from before the year 2000. Not only that but there are many tastes out there as well for the younger generation. Take my 8 year old for instance His fav band is ACDC......the old stuff. Also take this fact into consideration there is no law or sticker on every guitar that says you must be over the age of 30 to start playing guitar. I started when I was 6 and I am 34 now. And there is also nothing saying that just because I am over the age of 20 that I cannot enjoy Five finger death Punch or LMFAO for that matter....who cares.

I think the issue with any music game is always going to be about the content. I mean look at the DLC for Rocksmith personally I have purchased every one except one song, I did not complain about it or come on the forum and start going off at the developers. I think there should be music ranging from old to new if there is a guitar in it than it will suit this game or any other game just fine IMO. And as always no like-------no buy!!! IMO

And lastly I started this thread because I wanted to see other peoples thoughts on something that may or may not be as good as RS, and whether it would be something they would buy or not. Anyway just shooting my opinion out there.

Just thought some people would like to know this.

Realta promises that BandFuse with ship with at least 60 songs on the disc and additional 40 available as day-one DLC. No pricing estimates were given for the DLC. Wow if thats true that will be great.

It will be great if the game doesn't blow. I hope they pull it off but they need to change the interface before I'm sold on it.

The only thing that I am still wondering about is the alternate tunings. Tuning to drop c for FFDP is big step down from standard tuning for one song.
