I am very confused at the moment about the extra single player content that Ubisoft is offering to the customers who pre-order Far Cry 3 at a specific reseller.

My question is pretty simple and I really really hope that Ubisoft can supply me with an useful answer!

Q1: I always buy my pc games as a physical box product at this online store: www.gamesynce.nl (sorry for the advertisment). If I should pre-order Far Cry 3 at this store, will I still be able to play the extra single player bonus missions?

This a little bit complicated topic. We still wait of an official statement by Ubsioft.
It´s not enough to bought the game by one retailer, beacuse several retailers have different pre-order stuff. And some sites post different infos than other. Just have a look at the official FC3 Website. The said the "Lost Expedition" version of Far Cry 3 is available everywhere, so any version will have the two additional missions and a weapon in it. Then we´ve Gamestop, Amazon and Wallmart, every with a other pre order bonus.

The most guys here and me hope it´s possible to get any pre-order bonus with one buy. So I would wait where I pre-order, first we need official infos from Ubisoft

With just under 4 months to go before release I think I will wait a little longer to see what other limited or special editions are advertised, But at the same time I don't want to wait and find out that the only available bonus packs have sold out and I am stuck with a standard edition.

It is a shame that they have not had a rep on here listing all the content that will be available - Maybe the best bet is if they also have everything available to purchase at a good price as extra DLC, that way I can mix and match to get the stuff I want.

oke, the word is not out yet! Thanks for the info and the links provided.

The second link is what i am talking about. It clearly states that you must pre-order it via official farcry site. I personally dont care about the multi player stuff. I will only play the single player and i wish to play everthing. I see a couple of "expensive" option when i click through the official farcry site and my vendor is not mentioned there!
Furthermore, where I live we dont have Gamestop and also not Wallmart!!
And DLC for a single player game is in my opion the lamest thing a publisher can offer. I dont intend to go back in the game just to play these extra mission when i have already finished the whole game itself.

Please enlighten this for us Ubisoft, because I am still confused......all i want is those extra sp missions when i purchase the game at a selling point of MY choosing!

I really hope the unannounced "insane edition" will be the perfect solution, maybe they will show them during the E3. The "season pass" sounds good in my ears, but please give pc players the same opportunity to get all DLC´s in one buy. These kind of season passes are normally a console thingy.
