The Tempest Union
Our North American Home Base, Pt. Mugo Naval Air Station, California
2130hrs; a rare lull in the fighting has given our pilots time to relax and
attend to personal matters. A letter home, some well deserved rack time, take
a chance in the barracks crap game, or go for it all in a walk down the
beach with that pretty Nurse.
Whatever they choose, they know, tomorrow, or if they are lucky for a change,
the day after that, the War will be back.
Once a group of young upstarts, led by a couple of old Reserve Officers planning their retirement (until the war broke out),
The Tempest Union is now in its Seventh Year, a Grand Achievement in the fickle world of Gaming.
That persistence, coupled with the Union's Global Spread, have made TTU a known and respected presence in the
World Community of IL2 Sturmovik 1946.
Serious in Competition, relaxed in Command, we know it's just a game,
and it's a game we want to Win!
We all carry two games in our comps, 4.11.1 as well as 4.10.1m UP3 roc.
We fly as a team, utilizing our secure Ventrilo Coms to communicate with, and Cover our Brothers.
A number of us enjoy Skinning, while others are making maps.
We fly any plane from any Army.
We are Always open to new recruits, experienced pilots looking for a team, or the very beginner,
looking for cover and some training. Everyone was a n00b once, and you won't be ridiculed here.
