Single-Round Conquest: How do you feel?

There's been another thread posted about this and I wanted to know how the community feels.

So, do you like the change of Conquest to a single round? Vote in the poll and leave any additional feedback in a reply.

    Cheers!

I want to play both rounds, but I hate how some Conquest rounds can last 40 minutes... I'd rather see it back to the way it was since those 40 minute games aren't very common.

Don't want to increase the number of rounds?
Increase the number of grounds? just a suggestion. That way there's more play time.

But yeah... give us back the 2 rounds.

2 rounds why would you take one away makes no sense. There was noone tonight that liked the 1 round.

I really want to have MOAR rounds than 1! Namely 2. Seriously who's idea was that? Did that guy or gal ever played this game? 1 round makes no sense at all.

ingame: meric | my signature is annoying. deal with it

I would also like to see the 2 round game back. Especially with the matchmaking habit of putting me in matches literally seconds from end. Also there was so many matches that were clearly lost in the first round (over in like 5 mins) only to end up as a draw in the second round by smart and tactical team play.

I like options; I see the value of both and rather then forcing either on people... But instead of either/or why not have an end of round vote option to continue? In fact this would be a nice option to have for all game modes, where if say 2/3 of the people play voted to stay for another round the game would continue.

This is an everyone wins scenario: more sustained games for those that want them the option to leave and let people know how the game may be imbalanced by you're departure, and of course Ubisoft benefits by keeping as many people playing for as long as possible.

The issue with 40 minute rounds can be addressed by decreasing the amount of time per checkpoint. A maximum of 10 minutes to fight for C is way too long, and when you cap C, it usually goes back up to 10 minutes. On maps where stalemates are commonplace, this feels like a pain. Decrease the max fight time to 5 minutes/checkpoint so that a stalemate won't feel like a drain. That way, the maximum slow-progress time is 15 minutes if there are no-recaps or over-times, as opposed to 20+.
