Hi all,

Recently i re-installed my AC Revelations just to find that xbox360 controller option vanished into thin air. It's working in other games, i re-installed the drivers also, no luck. Any one had the same problem? Please help.

Hi there,

If your using the wired Xbox pad, the game should automatically detect when you insert the pad, and alter the controls for you.

If your still having issues, please contact Ubisoft support.

Ok, i fixed it!
Just in case you need it in the future here's the solution.

I uninstalled the xbox360 app for windows, then uninstalled every driver in device manager for xbox360 controller, the HID drivers and microsoft common controller for windows class (coresponding to 5 files: hidclass.sys hidparse.sys hidusb.sys and WdfCoInstaller01009.dll xusb21.sys)

unplugged the pad, restarted the system, plugged in the pad and let windows install the drivers itself. TA-DA! xbox360 pad showing up in the games menu again. I never re-installed the xbox360 hardware app, could have been that they somehow interfered with each other.
