iiiNero Did you ever collect all the diamonds in FC2?
Collecting the Jackal Tapes, getting every weapon, all the Cellular Phone Tower missions, the Malaria antidotes just to name a few things, that took a long time, Without the buddy side quests - but the main missions could be over in a fraction of the time if you went straight at it.

Then you had the difficulty level in FC2 - Play on easy and you get through it faster.
I think FC3 will be bigger because they are also using the water to hide things which was almost impossible in FC2 because it was like pea soup - As already said we choose how quick we want to go through it plus I think we can return to side missions like Medusas mast to complete them quicker or to gain more xp or explore.

The downside of FC2 was that once you entered the Heart Of Darkness at around 89% complete you were at the point of no return - I hope in FC3 we can actually still keep the game going after completion and also hope that it has a better ending, possibly different endings and scope for DLC to add in extra content that will take many hours to complete.

i couldnt finish FC2 cause i had a bug where i didnt came in a house were i had to accept a mission and now i cant do any mission.
also the controlls did annoy me to much at some point

I really enjoy FarCry 2 on pc, but on consoles i guess is a little frustrating because of the save boxes and the mouse control is much more smoother and precise

The 20 hours excludes side quests, hunting, exploration, mini-games, and outposts. That's playing it going directly from Objective A to B to C and playing the quickest way possible.

For some perspective, we've had people playthrough only a few missions over the course of 10 hours.

That is indeed good news. I only play as a single, so, yeah, I want more bang for my buck. Would be nice to have alternate endings too ..... Maybe in Far Cry 4 ?

Great idea.....i also tought about it, minigames will increase alot the timeplay....

- Poker
- Russian roulette
- Knif throw ( and Darts )
- Races ( motocross, jeep, Horses, boats, ATV, etc )
- Hunting games
- checkers
- Horseshoe game
