I don't dislike anything about Connor's outfit it's awesome, what bothers be about that screenshot(added text :P) is:

I don't have a problem with his boots. What bugs me is that I feel there aren't enough Native influences on his outfit. I wouldn't want them to go too cliché, but... I dunno, it's just missing something. I really hope we can have different outfits in the game because as it is, I can't see him blending in. If he's trying to fit in with the non-Natives, the Native influences in his outfit make him stand out too much, and in the wilderness the non-Native parts destroys any camouflage he might otherwise have.

Altair is arguably the only assassin out of the 3 that 'blended in'. While each of the assassins have had outfits based on the time period and place that they're in, only Altair's looked in place. Perhaps it's the fact that they're wearing a primarily white outfit. The fact they have a hood could come into it as well. Or it could be the plethora of deadly weaponry they carry on their person.

Well, the reason for his strongly 'Western' style of clothing is to help him blend into the background in the cities, something he couldn't do in traditional Native American clothing, so I can understand why there is little NA influences in the design. That said, I can imagine Ubisoft including a NA outfit as an unlockable..

I agree actually. I don't care for his boots but like you said, maybe we can put a more European style boots on him. Tbh I'm really not into the whole native American look but I think it's a great idea for the character and I like the bow and I can deal with the tomahawk I guess although I'm not a huge fan of it but I feel like the boots with the little leather strips hanging off are a bit too much.

what makes you think he was smiling because he was going to enjoy killing the guy, maybe he was smiling because he thought it was funny that the guy was running in a straight line when Connor pulled his bow out.

Allot of things could have been the case. The only way to find out is to wait for the game, or we'll see it in the gameplay.
