Intel HD 3000 Graphics not supported?

Basically, as the title says, I'm beginning to suspect that my graphics card isn't supported. It's not really a gaming card so that wouldn't be much of a surprise, but the thing is, I was able to run on it before (albeit horribly).

Now, after either a patch to my card, i can't. i don't know if it's related to the issue or not but it seems like it has to be because of the timing.

Also i wish you wouldn't pull from dedicated graphics memory (as i have 1.6g total, but 64mb dedicated, and that makes it bs), but i don't see that happening. just bringing it up though. I understand why, but it'd be nice for a free shooter to add ways to support intel integrated graphics better, and it'd draw in many customers with laptops not bought with the intention of gaming, but who wanted to try a good game to pass time. i'm talking a lot. but that's just a thought of mine.

Seems like a lot of people with the Intel HD graphics are getting these problems.

I agree that they should be supported, however you're right in saying that they're not really gaming graphics. The Intel HD graphics are basically only good for playing back some HD content in addition to normal computer use.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if an intel graphics card could run GRO... but then I'd be very unpleasantly mad that I have to put my settings on low to achieve 30 FPS gameplay :\

god **** GT 330... why oh why didn't I get the other macbook pro, why oh why oh why

funny thing is, if not for graphics card companies tweaking the way the cards work to make it so that integrated graphics don't work (a logical move, to protect their industry). if they didnt i'd have 1.6gigs of graphic memory. instead i have 64mb.

P.S. (RandomExpletive): right before i patched my graphics and it stopped working i found a way to run gro at 40 fps on high. after the patch gro wont run and the option that allowed that was gone.q.q

ooo I'd love to see your graphicssettings.ini if you still have it

I've been playing around and have ~ 30-40. MAN does the game look bad on lower-than-low graphics ;D

Actually all i had to do was go into the intel graphics settings (the interface accessible from the desktop) and under the 3D heading, change vertex processing to software, thus letting the integrated graphics card actually do its job and use ram! problem is, that was an old version of the gpu driver, around a year old i believe. when i updated it (same night as the GRO update), the option itsself was gone.

I don't know if it's software by default now, but i doubt it. intel is pretty much blind to this issue. i don't doubt that they would have turned it to hardware processing and screwed us over. Yet to find out. If you find it in the files, please tell me. I'd like to know it's on, obviously xD.
