I hate to be the doomsayer, bringing up the inevitable topic, but please tell me I'm not the only person to notice the complete lack of of any mention of the PC version in the new trailer. Or is it just in the North America version I've got?

And I have looked for other threads on this, so if I missed them, sorry. I've put this on the console side as well in case any of the console or multi-platform players know anything.

To be honest I'm expecting a delay anyway, no one should expect Ubi to release at the same time as their precious consoles...It's Ubi

Some of these companies do like to completely ignore any existence of a PC version in all their marketing though so the trailer pimping their console masters products is not clear proof we are in for a wait. As long as it's not a just plain stupid 6 month delay I'm cool with a delay though, we are the 2nd class PC gamers and we all should be used to, and prepared for, this kind of treatment from many publishers. Capcom, Rockstar, Ubi these guys you just automatically tell yourself the PC will come after the consoles and hope the delay isn't too long. Kinda ruins the games for us as all the console folk tell us about the games but a delay to pirates is more important than customers so pointless trying for change in these big publishers.

Of more concern to me on AC3 is how will they mess up the game with DRM as their awful always online/ login everytime DRMS are something that actually affects my purchasing decisions.

All the trailers that I've seen (including the reveal trailer) say that the PC release date to be confirmed. This trailer is a gamestop trailer (it says preorder at gamestop), they did the same with brotherhood. I don't think Ubisoft tried to conseal that they will delay AC3 this time around

Actually when asked when the PC version was coming (can't remember which site asked them) they repeatedly said it would come the same time. Of course we al know that is rubbish and the PC version will need "polish" but , at this time, they are claiming no delay.

It has the same date as the others. They are always subject to change but this is what it says right now.

As I said on the sister thread over on the console side, all I'm doing is pointing this out, and remembering previous games where little clues like this were the first indication...

If they're wrong it'd be a nice change.
