Where you stationed, MOS, how long, where you been, what rank, awards?

Right now im a 13M20 (sergeant) multiple launch rocket system crew member, but re-classing to 97E2PFP (airborne qualified interregator with persian-farsi language identifier).

im at Ft. Sill, OK. ive been to White Sands Missle Range for 30 days, and Kuwait/Iraq for 4 months during OIF. been in the army 3 years.

ive got (1) Army Commendation Medal (4) Army Achievement Medals, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Global War On Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (soon as they approve final regulation), NCO professional dev ribbon, Army service ribbon.

just curious as to who my "friends" are that know what the hell theyre talking about.

I'm in the AFJROTC in high school, does that count? Lol. I intend to join a branch of the military. I've got it narrowed down to Army or Air Force. I'm Cadet Chief Master Sgt. Now that no ones cares, I'll be leaving

well, im in Air Force ROTC, but i guess that doesnt really count either. eh... im somewhat unsure whether i shd fully pursue a military career or not. its this my first year in the program, and im jsut a cadet 4th class, pathetic huh.

if there r some ppl actually in the military, i like to hear what u guys think and how it really is.

I'm in the Bundewshwer... Not really the military, but we are a bit more fierce than most S.W.A.T teams!

The good natured Gendarmerie... The Canadian Armed Forces. Unit? British Columbia Regiment, 39 Canadian Brigade Group (Reserve). We are a armoured recon division, We are equiped with C8 rifles, both the C8 (iron sights) and the C8A1 (optical sights). I use the C8, which is a Canadian copy of the M4 carbine. I wish I could get a C8A1, but those are rare, and the only units I have heard of that equips with the C8A1 is JTFS2, and the Royal Canadian Regiment (which is in Afganistan) . I have used the C8A1, and the complaints I have about it is the optics mount, which is too prone to field damage, and the backup sights which are, believe it or not, made out of plastic!

Well... It isn't a military service (nicht einer Wehrdienst), but I have used quite a few of the weapons which are in Ravenshield (in whatever form).

I stated above that it wasn't really military.

Sorry I am not speaking "auf Deutsch", but I only moved to germany when I was 23 (3 years ago) from England.
