sorry for the waiting guys! i'm having the problem myself. tried everything but still fail. so here are the fix!! finally those having the problem installing gamelauncher crashes.
1. download revo uninstaller pro and serial key. sorry no link. google it.
2. instal.
3. run. click "force uninstall" tab.
4. type "ubisoft" in the second empty field. press next or yes.
5. delete all ubisoft gamelauncher registry.
done! now u can install launcher with no problem HOHOHO!

Thanks for the heads up solomonijau! Just wanted to add that we are also able to walk anyone through the removal of the launcher reg keys if they need it as well.
