my saga with prince of persia
Hoope you take this into consideration for our pop’s sake and bring the charm back.
Dear warriors
To start with ….i am a mechanical engineer working in software frim ….when I came to know about the pop 1 from my friend (he works in airforce in missile section) I remember the expressions on my own face….the thwarted look posturing the expression WHAT THE F…K is wrong with you telling me about the child games....he said that it’s a thunder in their airforce with even pilots playing it so I might take a look at the game as its based on my ever lasting passion for archaeology and history….
As I am very reluctant in playing myself I gave this assignment to my friend who is very fond of videogames (in my sense playing some silly games like project IJ..etc etc ) he plays for some time between the intervals of his classes(he is a MD of a mechanical design firm)he likes war ganes etc and when I said about this ..he gave it a try and I took the position of a relaxed viewer .
As the game went on n on IN POP 1 (THE SANDS OF TIME)….like the Persian essence, the swords..the history of the game etc etc ….i promoted myself from a viewer to a good navigator..when we were struck by dahaka we came to know that there are legends playing this game who are disguised our students in design !!!! one fellow can say the procedure closing his eyes on a telephone! And when playing pop2 (THE TWO THRONES)when I saw the ever charming Babylon ..(we played both pop1 and pop2 at a time) i surrendered to the charm with which the game is portrayed and i…I say again I became the ardent fan of pop .not to mention about the music ..i kept it as a ringtone!!!and I went to that extent that I played the game myself and took some 140 photos of the pop2 THE BABYLON .THE GAME MADE MY FRIEND AND ME CLOSER TO THE STUDENTS and the serious atmosphere in the institute turned out into a very very healthy, joyous, thrilling one.my friend extended the timings of the firm and the students extended theirs as well..slowly after the classes it turned out as the debate hall of pop !!!
We were very disappointed with pop3 AND POP4..i think the developers should make the prince rough and tough again like in two thrones and not like a girly man in pop4 .the stunning Babylon scenery beauty should be brought back and if theres no water drinking of our prince then it’s a big loss ..the changing of weapons …then the pop charm will return again.all in all The bottom line is the essence of two thrones should bebrought back instead of going for procedures that wont suit as you did in pop3 and pop5

Hey sir very good thought. I am having the same opinion about the series. The SOT, WW, and TT were some of the excellent games. But the last 2 games were not that good.

If you really love history as you claim, you might wanna learn the POP history as well. Let me give you the first lesson:
POP 2 is definitely not The Two Thrones, while POP 1 is also not The Sands of Time
Here's a more accurate timeline:
1. Prince of Persia (1989)
2. Prince of Persia-The Shadow and the Flame (1994)
3. Prince of Persia 3D (1999)
4. Prince of Persia-The Sands of Time (2003)
5. Prince of Persia-Warrior Within (2004)
6. Prince of Persia-The Two Thrones (2005)
7. Prince of Persia (2008)
8. Prince of Persia-The Forgotten Sands (2010)

Yeah, I'm afraid I don't agree either. I find the word "chram", especially, to be more synonymous with the game from 2008. I also find the term "girly" in your usage to be kind of a misunderstanding of both "manliness" and the character.
Anyway, I don't think asking if you're "right" is the best way to go about this. I think the best thing is to ask yourself (and your students) what the term "essence of Two Thrones" actually means. Without the specifics, a phrase like that is a bit too vague. The same with "procedures that won't suit". I personally don't think there was anything about the 2008 game that "didn't suit" Prince of Persia, but there's also no limit to what you could add to it, and that's the main reason why I really think it needs to continue. (It's not like it has to be like that forever if they do.)

I don't agree with you and I think you should indeed get better informed about the series like Grafferu said. And I am quite stunned by the name you chose as nickname. If you´re interested in history, you should know that your nickname is synonym to Adolf Hitler, a man who caused a war which had an estimated death toll between 60 million and 80 million. So I am left wondering why you went with that nickname.
