The new ClOD beta patch is great-really boosts fps...Finally playable especially on 'older' hardware -8600@4.4GHz 3GBRAM and GTX295 on Win 7 HP 64bit .Maybe now all us folk who bought the game but then went back to IL2 1946 will finally switch over at least for single player.

I am DLding it now.. that sounds good... but I doubt we will ave the full scale migration for a while. IL2 is just too good, too versatile... even if it is long in the tooth.. I think there will be people flying IL2 7-10 years from now... They may be small in number.. Heck there are peope who still fly CFS1.
