Xbox 360 4GB enough for Rocksmith?

Doing a quick search this morning before work I can't find any information on whether the 4GB Xbox 360 will have enough memory for the game and DLC, anyone have any insight on this? Thanks

yes it is, you can use and external HD as well. I got an old Xbox for camp from a friend with no HD and I us a portable HD to keep my saved game data and DLC with me.

My son has a 320G (whatever the new, big thin-line is), and he STILL uses an external drive so he can take content and his ID to his friends' homes and play. You'll be fine. ROCK ON!

You could install the game to the 4GB hard drive (recommended to reduce lag/load times) and still have room for like 500 songs. Each song is only 3-4 MB.

Yes, I had RS on a 4GB before buying a HD. Only issue is you wont be able to watch replays, which is why I bought the HD.

I don't think a 4GB has enough memory to install the game. I have 4.2GB free on my old 20GB Xbox. Would like to install it, but I need 5.7GB. I might try clearing some space by putting Rock Band on a flash drive. Load times are getting very slow.

Really? I stand corrected then. I thought the game was only like 1GB. I have the 320GB so I just recklessly install whatever I want and never check lol. Ill go see later.

Thanks for the help guys, I've been wanting to get this on PC but they keep pushing it back so I went ahead and got the xbox. It's intriguing from a practice standpoint and I wanted to see if it could provide some entertainment as well as a way to liven up practice. First time owning a console since like 2002... I went ahead and just got the 4GB for now, didn't have the funds to spring for the 250gb version so I'll have just have to pay a little extra for a new HDD once things get sorted out.
