I came up with an idea for a multi-player mode regarding using the dunia engines night time properties.....
so I would like to reach out to others on here to help develop the idea.
My thoughts are quite simple normal multiplayer maps... with the odd dim light in village or within interior areas and only moonlight in the jungle with caves or certain interior areas being potentially pitch black with darkness.
Upon gaining team points your side would earn greater ability to see in the dark like a perk system
Level 1Throwable glowstick both teams benefit from it's placement timed before runnning out
Level 2 Torchlight (for the individual timed period but detectable as the enemy can see you easily but your team can follow the torch light too)
Level 3 Sends up a flare (temporarily illuminates a portion of the map)
lLevel 4 Night vision goggles (for the individusl undetectable and no help to others)
Level 5 Napalm Strike (sets ablaze an area aswell as creates light from the fire longer than a flare you could kill your own team by mistake or the enemy)
Level 6 thermo vison goggles (ultimate vision for the individual)
Do you think this is fair team support bonus order?
What ideas does it give you,,,,and how would you develop it further,,,,
I just had a thought about tracer bullets also might work in the perk system too?
The idea also is based on the fact you would know the map vaguely from playing it in a daylight state but it would appear different in night mode
Please give your ideas and thought developing this idea a bit further
