A Cry in the dark....
I came up with an idea for a multi-player mode regarding using the dunia engines night time properties.....
so I would like to reach out to others on here to help develop the idea.
My thoughts are quite simple normal multiplayer maps... with the odd dim light in village or within interior areas and only moonlight in the jungle with caves or certain interior areas being potentially pitch black with darkness.
Upon gaining team points your side would earn greater ability to see in the dark like a perk system
Level 1Throwable glowstick both teams benefit from it's placement timed before runnning out
Level 2 Torchlight (for the individual timed period but detectable as the enemy can see you easily but your team can follow the torch light too)
Level 3 Sends up a flare (temporarily illuminates a portion of the map)
lLevel 4 Night vision goggles (for the individusl undetectable and no help to others)
Level 5 Napalm Strike (sets ablaze an area aswell as creates light from the fire longer than a flare you could kill your own team by mistake or the enemy)
Level 6 thermo vison goggles (ultimate vision for the individual)
Do you think this is fair team support bonus order?
What ideas does it give you,,,,and how would you develop it further,,,,
I just had a thought about tracer bullets also might work in the perk system too?
The idea also is based on the fact you would know the map vaguely from playing it in a daylight state but it would appear different in night mode
Please give your ideas and thought developing this idea a bit further

i really dont want that this game gets ramed up with perks and streakreward like it is in CoD... this would totaly **** up the MP. i want that the better player wins by skill and not by a perk or streak reward
Yeah, it does get annoying having to get a certain perk just to sprint, melee, or jump. I do too hate perks in a video game.

Hopefully you do not mean by a "skill' based game is that it takes 500 bullets just to kill someone. I personally hate that.

Some good ideas there but it won't happen. No killstreaks or perks is more my style.
I don't think you guys get his idea at all, it's not adding killstreaks to the game, it's a specific gamemode where these rules only apply there.
It would never make the game worse because if you don't like it, don't play that mode.
I personally think it's an awesome idea, and the ability unlock tier seems to be just right. The last one should be the best, it provides light and deals damage. I'd love to see a gamemode like this in Farcry.
I was trying to come up with a bit of a twist on the idea of the kill strak bonus utilizing the team support points ..... The better your team does the better options you will have to see and navigate in the dark giving you a stronger advantage over your opponent although some of the perks give them adavntage a bit too in some scenarios. It wouold be about knowing the right time to use a bonus to swing the game in your favour.... I myself personally don't really like kill streak bonuses etc etc. But I cannot think of any other way to implement giving the advantage..... This is based on team support points not kill streaks like we saw in multi-player reveal so it's not like COD at all in that sense too.

It was an idea that came to me... And I wanted some others to chip in on it, I developed it a bit further myself but wanted to see what people thought... And what ideas others had about it... Like it would be good if you could (insert idea here)
Exactly it's a seperate game mode... Glad you like the idea

It's not a bad idea I think... They said that you couldn't use all of your team support weapons (like psyche gas and barrelbomb) when you weren't outside so if you are in a cave, a bunker or just a location that's completely covered this is a good idea I think
- Shoot me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Well since you asked it so nicely.
I kind of thought of it as a replavement set of team support bonuses tailored for fighting in a night time map... so no Barrel bombs or site gas these would be instead of.... If you catch my drift...
