Game Search Cannot find Match while in a Fireteam. | Forums

This has happened on multiple occasions, where when my friend and I get together in a two-man Fireteam, the matchmaking services cannot seem to find a match. In most cases, the matchmaking services find a game after waiting 2 to 3 minutes; we have had one instance where the game search timed out for failing to find a game after over 4 minutes.

AFAIK, the match-making for fireteams throws you against another fireteam always. It's silly, but that's how it's done usually. So if there's no other fireteam queueing, it gets stuck trying to queue. The issue should technically go away when this game goes live or open beta, but until then, it'll be aggravating.

Yes and please remember since this is closed beta testing, player count is still low. When we move into Open Beta, player count will be significantly higher and therefore matchmaking will happen much quicker as there will be many more players.
