    I know the good players in ACB who use(d) the x2 loss streak only switched to it when they were close to having the 5 losses anyway, and didn't actively lose contracts on purpose except for maybe the last 1 or 2.

    If you already have 3 screwups in a row, why not roll with it and take advantage?

    How is that not an on-your-feet strategic decision?

    That describes me too, with the only difference that I don't count my losses and sometimes i get punished for it. I often poison someone and get stunned afterwards, only to see the scorex2 appear but not count when my target dies.
    Either way, i prefere to lose a kill rather that get only 100-150 points for it most of the time. And I really love it when I win and the person who is second has double or even triple kills than me

    I think he is implying about those who try to get 2x consistently throughout the entire game, allowing himself to get only those high point kills, with end game stats of 4 kills and 15 deaths. If that is the case, I do not know what they are trying to prove, because they hardly win most of the time and I do not see the fun of dieing most of the time.

    If you are in a match with roofers and runners it's not that hard to win with 3 or 4 kills by playing incognito.There have been games where i were consistently spawn roofed and poached and ended up winning with just 3 kills when the second guy had like 12 kills. just a few well timed kills are most of the time worth more than running on roofs like an idiot

    But here's my question. How much fun do people ACTUALLY derive from walking around waiting to get killed 5 times in a row? I get being #1 feels good, but I play ACR multiplayer for the rush and strategic on-your-feet gameplay. It's a lot of fun to time your kills and stuns while running around.

    Regardless of whether you finish in 1st or not, how much fun is it to wait to be killed? Is there another reason besides showing your friends that you finished first? Lol, like there's no trophy for that in real life.

    I'm just curious why people do it. Not bashing anyone's reasons.
    On my Poison/Smoke Bomb combination I have the 2X score in case I lose the contract 5 times in a row, but I've never done that intentionally, absolutely never. I rely much more on my streaks, that's way better to pad your score. But once in a while I may be killed 3 times in a row and stunned probably, and that's when you can boost your score, after all, you feel unlucky when you respawn and get killed in a couple of seconds or when about to kill your target you get killed. I'm actually OK with it. The most I could do is 3200. It's not like you do this every session, not me at least.

    Without it the best bonus combination I've had was - Hidden Kill + Focus + Poison + Revenge + Poacher + 3 Silent Kills streak + Extreme Variety = 1700.

    Score x2 is the most overpowered loss streak in the game. If you need it to win then you are a blight among this community (Just to clear it up I'm referring to people who x2 *****, not you.) I have won many matches against great players because of this ridiculously unbalanced loss streak. Given how good it is and what Ubisoft did to Smoke Bomb I'm surprised they haven't made it activate after 3 deaths or contract losses. It is really simple to balance it, take away gaining Focus in a Smoke Bomb, and make it activate after 5 Contract Losses ONLY. Contract Losses are much more difficult to exploit so that would take away the amount of exploitation from this Loss Streak. Besides the difficulty to exploit it is actually BAD LUCK which is what Loss streaks are supposed to help with. Also I just wanted to point something out, all of the loss streaks are 5 Loss Streaks there are no 3 loss streaks which is kind of a stupid flaw to be honest.

    If you have to use smoke to use your poison, you should no be using poison (not sure if that's what you do, but just pointing it out as a general thing). It's a cheap 200-300 points per poison and requires really no skill (even worse if you haven't crafted your poison properly and use smoke). If you are after a focus bonus, then smoke and kill without the cheap poison (although you can get focus without it) and try and get off a hidden, incognito poison - challenge yourself.

    Also, regarding the running around and getting 100-250 point kills and waiting to be killed 4-5 times.

    a) don't get killed - play some DEFENSE and get stuns and lures. People have just come to accept getting killed and view multilayer as a strictly offensive type of game. There is a defensive aspect to this game that seems to have been overlooked or discarded by most players.
    There are countless points to be had on the DEFENSIVE side as well.
    stuns = 200
    lures = 100

    5 stuns and 7 lures (not hard to do in a match) = an extra 1700 points just from playing defense.
    Plus, those add to your variety, greater variety, extreme variety bonuses

    b) as other people have said, there are countless ways to get high scores on your kills without the 2x multiplier.

    The fun of the game is tracking your kill, plotting how you are going to get close enough to get an incognito kill (administer poison w/o smoke) without being detected AND staying alive.
