I have a Marshall Valvestate 8240 (I know, the tube purists will think it's crap...) it's nice amp, great OD channel and nice stereo chorus for times when you want that sort of thing.

That said, I mainly use headphones either with Ampkit o nmy iPhone, or YH2 on my laptop.

One of the things I really like about Rocksmith, you don't need to spend time d*cking around trying to get the right tone, each song has it dialled in pretty good.
Sometimes when playing, I find I waste way too much time playing around looking for the right tone, when my time would better be used just playing. RS really helps with that.

I have enough technical crap in my lfe thank you. For this reason I have no amp* , no pedals, no software, no nuthin. This keeps me focussed on the wood and wires and stops me heading off to Tone valley for hours on end. The search for tone is the preserve of those more competent.
Which is also why Rocksmith is so great, it's like having a guitar tech who does all the setup fro me.

Edit: I also don't know what the dozens of dials and knobs do. I need "Amplifiers for Dummies"

    * There is a 20 year old Fender practice amp in the attic somewhere

I use a peavey valveking. Great amp- doing a speaker swap really helped it shine.

    Sadly, this: http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-CRA-FW120HS

Crate FW120H & FW412A Half Stack Guitar Amplifier

Seemed like a good idea until I got it... you can't even really gig with it as the feedback and noise is so extreme that it's mostly impossible to play cleanly (distored or otherwise) and even dealing with Crate tech support, we were never able to get the footswitch to work as advertised (one set of sounds and that's it).

This is what I have, plus a Epiphone Special 2 and a Sunburst Fender strat. I have had the Peavy for years, good amp, used to gig with it in garage band parties.

    Mustang I
Digitech RP90 (Nice effects processor, picked it up a couple years back)

I've just got an old Randall RG-15XM hooked up to the XBox for Rocksmith, really not much more than a glorified speaker.

Outside of that, though, I run a Blackstar HT-1R with or without a Zoom G3:

The G3 has amazing amp modelling for the price! I'd like to pick up a cab for the Blackstar soon, and the wishlist also has a Peavey Bandit 112 on it as well, but that thing doesn't have a headphone jack on it, so maybe when my son is a bit older.

You can get a 1/4 inch/guitar jack to a headphone jack converter. They're only $10 for a good set of converters with an extension cable at Wal-Mart.
