bugged? And again, you're talking about using it in conjunction with someone else - the only ability in the game that requires this for it to be reasonably effective.

I haven't been on the forums lately so ^^^ This game is a TEAM based game so if it requires someone else to be good then so be it. I have no problems with heat and being a TEAM player. I have no problems using it solo also. The only people that I see complain about it is people who seem only to be wanting kills for their stat screen. The only two things I have a problem with is I think the suppression effect should be instant to deter potshots and should be able to use a pistol. As for the damage I think it's good as is. Spent most one one day just making burritos with compass.

So.. I've rebound my (stupid) next/prev weapon keys temporarily to R and Z (since my mouse ****ons 4 + 5 apparently don't work for this). I have since tried holding R or Z down while firing heat.. no difference. What am I doing wrong?

I want to see 20's and 40's tick up on my targets, but I'm still seeing piles of 1's and 2's (ie: useless), along with continually pressing the fire ****on and long duration exposure times.

are you pressing or holding? I have no idea how you're only getting single ticks. It upramps rapidly, especially with Mk 2, after 3 or 4 seconds.

It may be that you really need the MK2 to see any good amounts of damage.

I can get it up to 28 a tick with the mk1

I don't press anything while heat is up. All I do is let it run and move.

well, i keep the ****on pressed down so when heat goes down, i start spraying bullets like a madman.

Maybe I start doing that. I posted a short heat montage in the player content i got a tick of 67 today O.o
