    iou's

    how do you get iou's? i looked at gifts and couldnt spot them

    You can get them from friends or when doing certain actions (finishing a building, etc)

    when you help a friend by doing chores on their farms, it says you get 3 energy and 1 IOU. I have been helping friends for days now, and I still do not have any more IOUs. is this a glitch i need to report or am i not understanding something?

    They haven't ever been awarded, they say they are still working on that. When you're building something that requires IOUs and you don't have any, you have the optoin of posting the link to your wall so your friends can send you one. When they click, you get one AND the friend gets one. So it pays to scroll through your friends' postings and click on everything to get materials for yourself.
