does anyone know if in the campaign you will still give commands to your squadmates?

Along the lines of what was in previous ghost recon games. you tell your squadmates where to go and what cover to use etc etc... or are they make it like call of duty where you have squadmates but they pretty much just go through their scripted system of helping you out as they see fit?

Pretty sure that the only commands you can give your teammates are to target certain enemies.
Either for a sync shot or to focus fire during combat.

Watch the single player videos and you will see how it works. There is no more micro management of your team members. You become a Ghost (optical camo ftw ) you reconnoiter (it's all about the intel) and you can stealthily and tactically coordinate a 4 player sychronised takedown. You can be swift, silent and lethal or managed aggression (aggressive not recklessness ).

Squad commands would confuse a lot people, so instead you set you and your squad up for a synchronized shot, and the game does the rest for you.

Bummer. Squad commands are a serious tactical element in these types of games. Tactical shooters are so going downhill.

I found it annoying on the console versions of this game because the entire game was one big corridor anyway. We still don't know what the PC version will be like, but the AI seems good enough to KNOW what you want them to do.

If you want to be respected, fight fair. If you want to win, do what is necessary.

From the vids I've watched, playing SP will not be even remotely as fun as co-op campaign
