Why is it archers body in the suits when they didn't die in them?
Why is it archers body in the suits when they didn't die in them?
well, as Stealthgamer001 we don't really know, but there are 2 possibilities:
1- Different teams worked on SP and MP, so it was an unintended mistake.
2- Kobin provided 2 bodies and put them into the dead bags, to prove to Reed he killed him, while he was working with Grimm and actually didn't kill them, after all Kobin's job is to fake deaths.

Looks more like a Spy in his full gear rather than some mercs body. The body of a spy, especially with all his gear probably has a lot of value to entities wanting to create negative media about sanctioned clandestine outfits. Exposure would be more valid with his suit on, along with counter intelligence.
Mostly though, I bet it was so we, the player, would recognize him.
@Sameer
I could buy one of them surviving but not both.
The head to head on the plane was too big a part of the story to be ignored, we actually saw the loser die. Kobin shooting the survivor though (Kestrel) wasn't shown, you saw him fire the gun but no impact, no death slump, etc. I say Kestrel would be the potential survivor because of a) Archers body in the bag, b) Kestrel was the good guy, Archer was the one given the elimination orders, c) Archer was a bit dooshy and part of Reed's Echelon and d) because, OBVIOUSLY, Sam is going to be the one wearing the 3E Eclipse or variant thereof this time.
Sam and Kestrel co-op...can you dig it?

That's why I think both of them may end up living, I think since there was 2 possible outcomes that both are wrong, they may treat them like they never happened, but at the same time they may as you said do the least we expect, like they choose to continue with Lambert's death in DA.

^ Or they both might just stay dead. It's a hard one, they were great characters, and easily could find recurring roles in the pantheon. But at the same time, the way their mission went down was good story telling, and a kind of honorable and all that. I just have to believe that Ubi talent is capable of creating more awesome characters to play.
However it does go, I am hoping that it IS a continuation, a progression on from the last story, not a huge change up or departure from what SCC was.
What if they have changed up the approach from SCC significantly, morphed it again in an effort to get closer to the older titles?? I really hadn't considered that possibilty. I've been thinking "we have a winner here" just like Creed, and that UT would see it that way too, and follow it up with an evolved successor. What if they don't see it the same way???
Thanks Sameer, for getting me started on that line of thought. I'm gonna go cry in the corner.![]()

First things first, TBH I don't mind if SC6 introduce a whole new Co-Op characters, I want them to treat it like they did with A&K, but this time around keep them alive, build on them, and make them part of the series, didn't you ever wonder why with every SC title we get different agents !!! LOL, in CT Red&Blue, in DA different two, in SCC A&K, it would be nice to have the same agents for more than one title.
2nd Continuation & Progression: when I read that I think, Voron and 3rdE relationship, and that's why I want, I want those kinda of Joint Operation to continue on, they add alot when it comes to story and characters, not to mention Voron is a fine agency to look at, especially since it is like 3rdE, Voron is one of the best new things SCC Devs introduced IMO.
3rd As for The Approach: No worries, you won't get CT2 (even though I would love one after SC6), but I believe they will build alot upon SC6, for example M&E will be totally improved (for better I hope, and not over powering again), certain things will return like Carrying/Dragging Bodies, probably better Take Downs (I hope similar to DA more than Uncharted), more darkness and better sand box style maps, a story focusing on Megiddo and dealing with something that matters nowadays, exploring Fifth Freedom or another root, Cover 2 Cover will probably be improved even further than GRFS (yeah I know I said GRFS, cause GRFS C2C is basically C2C II, so probably SC6 will have C2C III, especially with the different animation when in cover or peeking similar to GRFS).
That's all I can think of right now, maybe cause I am little hungry, but any way no worries, I believe the core they are building on is SCC, but they are trying to add some hardcore features, some old features, some improvements here and there, to make a better package, and I am actually pretty optimistic about it, my only worry is the Graphics, I hope to GOD that they are using a modified Unreal Engine 3, and not the same old Unreal Engine 2 which was being used since CT.

- Maintaining new Characters: Yeah, A&K were the best. I think it is definately time to see some other agents stick around and get built upon.
- 2nd: Voron needs to stay. That expansion to the SC stealthiverse is superb.
- 3rd: M&E tokens should be harder to get on higher difficulty levels, or lower in number per execution. This would encourage players to save them up for really tight situations. One token per execution. Keep it the same on Rookie though, or customizable to allow for total M&E playthroughs (and speedier speed runs). Other than that, I think M&E doesn't need changing.
C2C in SCC is better for SC than GRFS version of it imo. It's smoother and sleeker in SCC. In GRFS it's kind of like C2C blended with a Roadie Run, allowing the player to cover large distances with it. I liked SCC's version for SC because it became a tool that supported stealth play, whereas GRFS's supports movement between cover in a shoot out/battle. I vote to embelish SCC's C2C a little bit perhaps (animations) and would love a cover takedown for walls like UC3.
- 4rd:I want some expansion to climbing as well!
Guess we're getting off topic.
Hey what about all those dead agents we left at Echelon before it went boom, and the White House. Lot of dead agents in solo.
