Got Splinter Cell: Conviction on Steam for my mac and I'm having some problems
When I start the game, what I assume is the main menu has nothing on it. just a black background with some lights. There are still sounds that are made when my mouse moves over what I assume are options (play, settings, etc.)
I assumed I have to install a patch, but when I do, it says it must be SC: Conviction must be installed, which it is, via steam.
How can I fix this

Hello flyingwhale... can you provide more information? It's important that you provide detailed/adequate information so we can help you solve this problem/issue... see example http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...35#post8264235 of typical information someone/anyone needs for troubleshooting. Your particular problem/issue could be (most likely) happening because of hardware or software conflicts, and without this information it's impossible to troubleshoot. If you can provide more detailed/adequate information here on this post, I will be glad to assist.

Error I'm getting
- Game will start, there is a black screen, what I assume is the menu pops up without any text, I click near the lights and the camera pivots down, there are still no words except (welcome to the Ubisoft News Network) there are sounds when I move my mouse, which I assume are options (play, settings, graphics)

Hello flyingwhale... thank you for your reply with additional information. After looking here http://ubisoft-en.custhelp.com/app/a...on-mac-version for minimum system Splinter Cell Conviction requirements MAC version; I'm leaning toward Splinter Cell Conviction does not support your Intel HD Graphics 3000 (it's not on the list)... and if it's not supported, it (most likely) will not work.
Normally I would suggest contacting Ubisoft Support http://support.ubisoft.com/, but they are going to tell you the same thing... but you can try. By-the-way, there are other threads similar to yours, and I don't believe that they ever got it working either... look here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...23#post8212623 and here http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...70#post8188670.
Good luck.
