Depends on the route the camera takes...... it might show you a bit of the island that you start out in but not the latter stages of the game... They managed to do a loop round the island in FC1 withoput spoiling the game so I'm sure it can be done again.

The camera loop never gave away any of the characters or main locations or the plot in the game.... It did not spoil it atall only enhanced the experience..... It was nice to look at
Perhaps if they had adopted the camera loop for far cry 2 a truck would have caught up with it and attacked the camera for no reason

Probabaly I'll explore a little bit, enjoy beautiful scenry and wildlife, and then take first mission.
I've had a re-think. I'm going to sneak around the island to try and find Vaas - and when I see him I've going to perform a take-down on him.

Far Cry 3...
Not stupid at all...as we stated in another thread, sound effects/atmosphere/music plays a very big part in a game.
While the graphics and general environment can immerse you into the gameplay, the music sets the mood to all that.
Personally, the first thing I'll do is start the map editor...as it will be this and Multiplayer which will eat up most of my Farcry3 gaming time.
