i loss mid-air kills because my target is to stubborn to jump and won't give me points out of spite.
Why would anybody want the gun kills to be worth more points. Getting shot is allready rediculously annoying.
I wouldn't want the shooter getting more points.

Secondly if I hear the gun noise I try and dodge the gun. If I know I'm going to get shot for sure, why would I jump to give you more points.

My targets are to stubborn to just stand there so I can kill them!

Funny, after playing ACR for awhile I went back to ACB and every time I heard the Gun sound I would immediately stop running thinking that I didnt want to give my pursuer the execution bonus.

I think that one way to remove the urge to get gun kills is to provide a way that a player can quickly react and nullify the gun shot. One way to do this is to allow players to slide along the top of a roof and hold onto the edge, like what was demonstrated in ACR's singleplayer with what I call the Hook Slide (but it was not in the multiplayer, funnily enough). This would allow a player to quickly run to cover in that situation, at the risk of giving their pursuers an Execution.

Right now, if you run, you're giving them an Execution almost certainly.

Another method would be to use a human shield to cover the direction that you believe the bullet is coming from. If I'm near some civilians and I think the person about to shoot me is behind me, I could grab a nearby NPC and direct them to take the bullet if my pursuer shoots. One way to not make this invincible is to have the NPC elbow you after a short amount of time, so that if the gunner was still aiming at you (for whatever reason), then they could get the shot in since the civilian is out of the way.

It could also give a second function to the Bodyguard ability, where if you activate it and then someone aims a gun at you, they can save you from being hit by the bullet by jumping in.

as i said increased cooldowns would mean you cantjust shoot everyone and anyone using it exclusively would be at an extreme disadvantage with itnot counting towards streaks

If you on the roof or running than bullets is what you deserve.
