Unfortunately UH_Reaper, you will never get that "prime R6 gaming experience" ever again or any other of the classic games that had that similar experience. The gaming community has changed for the worst... lack of respect for each other and developers has ruined that "prime experience". Back then there was a certain amount of respect morally all around. The moral fibre of people these days is almost extinguished.
The developers don't have that TLC for their own games anymore and don't respect their own fans. They have this bait & switch type of PR that deceives their fanbase into thinking one thing, while delivering another. What's funny is that, we have all these many forms of media communication, and the companies are usually silent on major problems with their games, like it doesn't exist or it's the consumers fault.
These days, gaming is all about the bottom line only... make something quick & cheap for a quick dollar, and hold back a portion of the development for DLC... for more quick dollars. It's a wonder why company's gaming forums are so saturated with so much negativity & hate, these gaming companies are giving consumers less product, less quality and less communication.
Sorry for such a negative post, it's just how I see things lately.
I have both Vegas and Vegas 2 Whilst the graphics may be better in vegas2 they did leave a lot of stuff out, the behaviour of the Bots(A.I.) for one they used to use smoke grenades for cover, and throw more frags and incendiaries there was more map's too and some where massive compared to vegas2
But both games were let down by poor (non existent) support as ubi abandoned these games, vegas2 after the 12mths, no patches /fixes no more maps , 4 extra maps and 1 of them was sponsored by Comcast, and also let down of course by the one un reliable server located in Canada several thousands of miles away that they keep using for on-line game-play Now if they had finished the game and had continued to support it that would made a big improvement But they need to change the current methods used for on-line connectivity in future games to allow independent gaming server hosting globally , so those who want can rent slots on them, as i don't see ubi having a network of servers located around the globe all interconnected
