    Question Loot/Reward Calculation, Clarification needed

    First off, sorry if this has already been posted/discussed , but I did do about 4 different searches (different keywords) and I could not find any solid info on the subject.

    So my question is: How exactly is the Loot (rewards) calculated?
    Because Iv'e had a few terrible rounds, and by terrible I mean, Low score (600 something), 1 cap assist, and maybe 2 Defense or Attack kills, (not at the bottom of the board but still in the lower region) BUT iv'e still gotten "2 stars" as in a Rare Loot box.

    Other really really really really good rounds, over 8k score, 5 + caps, 20+ attack/defense kills, Iv'e gotten nothing, no stars, no loot.

    When I started with the Beta, I thought "well logically this system must be based on how much you "PTFO" (Play The F****** Objective) Or perhaps your overall score, but now I'm starting to wonder If it's more random?


    So anyone that could shine some light on this, please do, or point me to a thread that talks about this "In-depth"

    As far as I know, it's random. However I think there was a thread somewhere with the system on it. If I find it, I will post a link.

    Hrm, okay.
    Well IF you do find the thread I'd be quite grateful, because as I said, did different searchers but found nothing :/

    Distribution of loot is not random regarding to my eperience.

    My overall impression tells me:
    - there is more and better loot when matches are long - maybe dependent on the overall RP made (long matches)
    - loot most of the time given to players within the upper half of the score board
    - almost never saw legendary loot given to players with 0/x(lower end on the list of points)

    Some days i start finding it even odd when one of my buddys(most of the time one or two) or myself dont get any loot within a match. So i will state it has definetly sometzhing to do with your score.

    Still there is a random mechanics if any loot shall given, but to pick a player is in my opinion very dependent on your score.
    So if you are good, chance is good to get any loot. If the matches took long time or you got very much points chances are higher to be rewarded with higher quality of loot.
    In addition to that there is a very low random chance to gain loot if you have almost no points or the lowest score.
    So maybe the chance if loot is given or not is dependent on the score of the "best player" and then calculated in percentage to his performance, with additional inputs that could increase the chance like time spent in the match and so on.

    Okay, well the bit about the length of the match makes sense
    I think iv'e seen a player at the bottom of the list getting rare loot 2 times so far o.O
    And yeah never seen anyone low getting Legendary that's for sure.

    Maybe it's random in the sense that, out of the "good" players it picks a few.

    Would be nice to see a dev-post explaining it in detail at some point

    I am not entirely sure. I have played matches where the MVP did not get loot while others do get loot.

    Time probably has something to do with it. I will post the question in Developer Q&A thread, since I can not find anything.
