Now it looks like you can only breed if you have space--INCLUDING your retired horses. So, you can only have enough horses as to fill your stable. When I sent a lot of mine over the rainbow, I was able to breed again.

Thanks, mushly: you were right about retiring horses! I was also able to post to my wall, so that's all taken care of, too.

Cool beans. Yeah, unfortunate...hopefully they'll get the Nursing Stable expansions working soon so we can manage with more horses!

I have the same problem, although it's only the breeding part. And my Saddlebreds retire after I work them twice as adults?

So even though I have the quest and bought the nursing stable (am just waiting for a friend to accept as staff) the nursing stable won't let me keep some of my retired horses yet?

Another question, this is the only building where I have had to send out invitations to friends rather than posting on my wall, but I've never seen a request to help in my inbox. Are those requests even working?

Nope. The nursing stable will house one horse right now and that's it. You can't upgrade it yet either. Yes, those requests work you just have to find someone who doesn't currently work for you to accept it in their request area.
