I loved the movie when I was a kid (I was 8 when it came out.).

Now I'm old and cynical. How did some many sailors survive the sinking of the sub at the beginning of the movie. And how did they get rescued so deep in enemy territory?

Oh well... enjoy the movie. I'll try to find more.

My first underway, the Captain used to do movie night for the NUBS(New underway Buddy...yeah Buddy that works) and one of the few movies I watched with him was RSRD, great flick.
