Yes. I am logged into UPlay. My name shows up in the top right corner.

My problem is I don't know how to link my gamertag to my uplay account?

Gunna bump this up as Im having the same problem I believe.

Everytime I try to use GRN it tells me
We couldn't retrieve your game data

and that the area is dedicated for Ghost Recon players?

Im pretty sure my UPlay account is connected to my XBL GT also.

I think you have to do it through the game till release

I'll send up an alert that you're having trouble connecting to GRN.

I use a different email address for Uplay than I do for my XBL Gamertag; however, my Gamertag is the same as my Uplay username. You might want to see if you're using the same names for both. In the meantime, I'll see what I can find out.

Having the very same issues....uplay account is connected to my xbox tag as well
