Will the game feature leaderboards? , i realise in the beta you can view peoples stats and view a "leaderboard" that compares you and your friends but will there be a global one?
im not to sure where i stand with leaderboards as i like to be able to view the top players but at the same time i feal they do somewhat encourage cheating in some sense, i guess id prefer it DID have them as it is something else rather than not , so yeh...

no there will be no leaderboards in MP. for guerilla there will be something similiat to compare with friends.
they said it in interviews. imo if they make a bit more stats in the game i wouldnt care about leaderboards
fair enough but there is a leaderboard you can view it when you check your friends :P , suppose thatll have to do!

Leaderboards would make this game all about KDR and glitching hence what happened with MGO (Metal Gear Online), this game should be about OBJECTIVES and TEAMWORK. Not how many kills and deaths you get, if you want that play other games that offer that feature. BRINK the game was a good example of you DO NOT NEED KDR, it was about teamwork and working towards completing your objectives no matter what. Ubisoft should only keep the leaderboard where you can show off your stats to your friends and only your friends.
then simply remove the kill and death stat from any statistics ! , im not intrested in that anyway :P, i like the teamwork side of brink but that game was garbage , forced you into rooms with bots and was laggy as hell (my xl name is BrinK CarteR after that game lol)Originally Posted by LightningV
The game was not garbage just lacked support, immensely from Bethesda. And I loved BRINK, while it did not succeed like we all wanted it too, it certainly made me spoiled in some aspects. Like I WILL NOT play any title unless it has elements of Parkour, Character Customization, Objectives and certainly Teamwork. Plus I was pretty content with BRINK our team was #1 in the 'Brink Holiday Event Tournament' for PS3 out of the 12-13 hardcore clans each with 10-15 people in it who stuck with it since release.
