GunSmith Web is comprised of a lot of weapons in 3D, and as such is a big file (around 100MB) to download the first time around. In some cases depending on the performance of your connection, it will take too long to download for your browser and this will result in this error.
    Possible fixes are :
    • If you are using a Wi fi connection, try to hook up with a network cable to your router to improve the bandwidth.
    • Close down all other programs running at the same time, especially the ones with network intensive use such as home streaming services or P2P clients.
    • Check your proxy settings and try to establish a direct connection to the site
    • Or try GunSmith web from a different connection for the first time.
Main resource for fixes can be found here :

Gunsmith throws up bad file error every time when i use Firefox 11, it might be becuase i also use many Firefox addons though?. Internet Explorer 9 works great with everything. I don't know yet how to actualy test the guns in Ghost Recon Network though, i logged in ok on the network but to test the guns i need to be logged in, but where do i log in?, Sorry i must be slightly blind or just a newbie but can anyone advise where do i log in to test the guns, or is it just for show and there is no Gunsmith test area?.
