This week is a killer for me work-wise and personally so I doubt I'll get to it this week at all. Will post something here at some stage though.

I have no doubt you'll nail it this time Steam ...
Good point on the improved picking dexterity, I can sense that too after all my riff practice. I spent another hour in Accelerator this morning and worked up to 99% speed, playing by ear, not looking at screen, and finally I've found if I focus on my picking pattern, my fretting fingers will just fall into place...max-leveled in Leveler finally, even if I'm still not perfectly clean...now to move on to the variation in the chorus! Good thing there's no tricky solos to learn in this song, cause I'd run out of practice time if there were.

Well, it's been a year since this tricky little arrangement beat the snot out of me and left me for dead on the side of the road. I crawled away and said I'd be back in a year to have at it again, and after spending an hour a day, each day, for the past week, I finally beat that little riff into submission. I can't remember the last time I've been so happy to score 100K, but after 5 full runs today I gradually crept from 93K, to 95K, to 98K (x2), and then finally 100K. Purple baby! Only 92% accuracy, still need to sure up those chorus variations, but all-in-all I'm really happy.

Nice job Steam ! Sorry I haven’t had an occasion to work on this song before today.

Well, I hit my goal of 96% but I can’t believe how ungroovy I am ! I also broke 200k in MM. My best NS is 148 (done in an MM run).

Could have been worse given that I worked on this only 2 hours or less

    Best Accuracy:

Well done Steam - nice to get that 1 year old monkey off your back!

I got an hour just now squeezed out an extra 2% and 3K on my previous best so I'm very pleased given the last minute effort. I certainly think if I had some more time I could add another couple of %.
My wife is complaining loudly right now about how can I possibly play the same song over and over (little does she know) so I'm being taken off the case for now but I may come back to it during the week.

If you say 'gullible' slowly it sounds like 'oranges'.

Also great runs by you Shik - always impressed by MM runs.

I'm using headphones but I guess she can hear the strings. We're going to have our 3rd child in 4 weeks so perhaps Madame's sensitivites are ratcheted a little higher than normal

Great job to both of you! The more I play this song, the more I like it, especially Combo 2, I think it's my favorite to play out of all 3 arrangements.

Once I met my goal on Combo, I moved on to SN & Combo 2, as I had played both of those arrangements a few months back and was sitting in the mid 80K range on them. Hit 99%(112.5K) on SN with 349 NS, good enough for 2nd place on RS Buddy. Tried a MM and totally bombed it, probably worst MM I've ever posted (142K @ 68%). It's hard to follow along with the single note arrangement in MM because you can hear the combo parts playing too and it gets confusing. For Combo 2 I'm hitting 96% consistently and my score of 111.3K is #1 on RS Buddy. I think I'll do a lot better in MM on Combo 2, since it has a lot of chords and not too much variation. I think after about 4 or 5 more runs I'll give it a go in MM. Don't think I'll bother with the Combo version in MM until a later date.

Good luck finding time to play RS Kinch, it will be tough with the new kid on the way.

Nice runs guys! Great job on Master Mode, sh1kamaru. Looks like the week is about over. I had a lot of fun with this song this week--hopefully everyone else enjoyed it as well.

    Updated Highest Note Streak.

@Steam: yeah it’s hard to do well in MM on this song, because you have to learn all the variations, when they occur, I had to do quite a lot of tries on the combo arrangement to get it over 200k.

@Bullvine: awesome job with that 304 NS

Only got about 2 hours to get at this song, might play it this week and see if I can improve my 94% accuracy, since I already got 99% on Outshined. Here is what I got so far.

    2012 Score: 80,376 40 play count

    2013 Score: 100,251 @94% Accuracy Longest Note Streak 101.
    5 play count
