    [Mac] Exile Sound Problem

I have been replaying the Myst games one by one. I just installed Myst iii: Exile and the game it self seems to be working just fine, but the sound keeps skipping in the opening cut scene. The music and Atrus's voice come in and out. I can still tell what he's saying if I put the subtitles on, but this is still really annoying and takes away from the experience. I'm not really a super computer Savvy person, so If anyone can help I Would really appreciate it.

Are you running OS X on a Mac, and if so, which OS X version and which model Mac?

I figured out the problem and how to fix it. Just in case anyone else has this problem I'll post the solution.

The reason the sound skips is because Myst III was not mad to be run with a dual processor, so you have to turn one of them off. To do this you'll need to download the CHUD tools. Once CHUD is installed you can use the processor preferences pane to turn off one of the processors. You can easily turn the second processor on and off. also if you reboot it will go back to having both on.
