Thread: Shadow & lighting problems? (Lego shadows) | Forums

  1. #1
I've heard people complain about lego-like shadows in SCPT, but isn't this a bit ridiculous?

People told me when I downloaded my latest drivers this would go away, but it hasn't? Why would Ubisoft release a game with such low quality shadow effects?

I tried downloading those and whenever Windows went to boot up, Windows restarted itself. Therefore I had to reinstall Windows and get the latest drivers all over again. I dunno why, but the 4.4s royally mess up my PC.

Yeah, mine doesn't do that either. What resolution are you running it on? Try to bump it up some. I'm running mine on 1280x1024.

I used Ubi tech support and got this answer:

This seems to only be an issue with certain Radeon models. We are currently working with ATI and the development team to figure out the cause of the problem. In the meantime, try adjusting some of the options in the advanced display properties of your video card to see if it has any effect. Try turning off the Anti-Aliasing and play around with some of the other options. Hopefully, these issues will be resolved soon. Thank you for your patience.
