I am a bit troubled my my NAT problems. I bought the game on PC this week, and unfortunately have barely been able to get in any game, which I assume is due to a strict NAT and low upload speed. However, I cannot figure out how to change that status, and am running out of ideas. At this point I am plugged in directly to the modem and have tried disabling my firewalls and any other program running in the background. Help?

    same problem as many others

so when i try to invite a friend they get "can not connect to session" same error i get when they invite me. 3 of my friends have this game for pc and they can all group up besides me... and one of them has the same ISP and router that i do..i tried direct link to my modem and still nothing. I updated my routers firmware and changed my NAT to open from moderate by updating the firmware but even with open NAT still nothing. I really love ACR but I do not want to regret buying this game over multiplayer issues... I play many games and in no game Have i ever had to port forward or do ANYTHING to play with my friends and iv done all that here, still no solution. Contacted support lmao and they do not really know what it is.

I have had so many issues with the MP and after opening all my ports etc to get green NAT, it was worse. Nothing more frustrating than waiting ages for 1 game that is so problematic you turn it off. We have plenty of other games that are MP and we do not need to do anything other than put in the disc and enjoy. I loved earlier AC games, Revelations has ruined it for me

Nothing is true: Everything is permitted.

Also how to do a diagnostic test?I don't know sorry.
Depends which console you have, if it's Xbox 360 scroll to the right in the dashboard and it's in console settings. As your's is Green then the problem lies with your friend.

    Having trouble initiating a match.

I try to set up a private custom match, and my friends are able to connect fine. But no matter how long we wait, the match won't start. Is there a way to manually start the match? Because it seems as if the game doesn't want to start by itself.

We're all using the PC version. Bought it on the Steam sale a few days ago.

    Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, we're all able to join other multiplayer matches perfectly. But we'd like to play privately sometimes as well, and that is the feature that is not working.

Hello i bought ACR(PC) yesterday to play online but the problem is i can't actually do that. I have open NAT and for some reason it says that i have bad connection(i have 50 mb\s lan and never expected any problems with hight ping if servers were located in Eu or US) and for some reason i can't connect to ANY game. It's just searching for games trying to connect but it doesn't do that at all. Not a single person is able to join to me there. What the hell? I've paid mony for the game and i want to get it.

I've been unable to connect to the multiplayer server for 2 days now, and now that I think about it, it wasn't until I started playing on the DLC maps. Before then I had no problem whatsoever. I was playing two nights ago when the screen suddenly froze mid-game and sent me to what I am now calling the black screen of death. Black screen, white writing with red left-hand text border that says something like 'cannot connect to the ubisoft server at this time, please try to reconnect later.'

I just got a very unhelpful response from tech support. After writing in telling them what I had already tried that hadn't worked (plugged in direct to modem via ethernet, recycled modem, tested xbox live connection, reset connection, logged in and out of xbox live) they sent me this response:

If you are receiving any multiplayer connection issues, or having trouble connecting to a multiplayer game please try the following:
    - Start by testing your Xbox live connection with the following steps:

    1. Start at the Xbox 360 dashboard.
    2. From the My Xbox menu scroll to the far right to System Settings.
    3. Choose Network Settings.
    4. Select your connection type (wired or wireless).
    5. Choose Test Xbox Live connection.

    - If this test shows your connection as either moderate or strict then you will most likely have some sort of interference within your connection to Xbox Live. In this case, please try the steps below:

    1. Restart your network hardware. Turn off your Xbox 360, Modem, and Router and wait about 15 - 30 seconds
    2. Fully power up your modem
    3. Fully power up your router
    4. Turn on your Xbox 360 and test the Xbox Live connection again.

    - At this point if you still have trouble then you may have a firewall interfering with your connection. Please configure the following network ports within your router:

    TCP 53
    TCP 80
    TCP 3074

    UDP 88
    UDP 3074
    UDP 53

    - Finally, if this does not solve your problem try placing your Xbox 360 in the DMZ of the router or establishing a direct connection to your modem and retry.
um... I'm pretty sure I *just* told you I have already done all of those things. Thanks for nothing ubisoft!

My connection displays at NAT Optimal. If Optimal means what the word actually means, I gather my connection is good. Am I way off here? I also tried (just for ****s and giggles) to try connecting to multiplayer on AC Brotherhood. Started right up, no problem. I then went to Revelations, tried connecting to the U Play store (had not previously been able to connect) and it connected no problem. Went back to multiplayer and *GASP* "cannot connect to servers at this time, please try again later"

What the hell man? Is this what I get for purchasing DLC from you guys? I even tried installing the game directly to my xbox. No change.

    *** EDITED TO ADD ***
i will say, though, i tried playing in 3D mode last night. even though i have nothing left to do in the solo game, it was pretty rad fighting guards and jumping around rooftops in 3D!!

    Hello!
I've got AC Revelations for PC, and the multiplayer won't start from the main menù in the single player selection.
Some days ago I redeemed the Multiplayer Pack from uplay, and from that point I can't play the multiplayer.
I open uplay launcher and the games. Everything works without problem, but when I select the Multiplayer button the screen reamin stuck in saving mode: black background and a "Saving..." message. No errors, no message from the computer. Minutes and minutes of that saving screen mode.
I tried with the FAQ in the technical assistance, and with closing the firewalls, but nothing.
