Error while patching ACRMP.exe. What to do? | Forums

Hey person reading this.
I bought Assassins Creed Revelations last december at the local gameshop.
It has been working allright until like a month ago when i tried to play multiplayer. I clicked on multiplayer in the menu, it started loading and everything seemed normal.
But then when it finished loading it crashed and was redirected back to the main menu of the singleplayer. I didn't worry about it and just closed the game down.
I thought it was being updated or something (thats just how stupid i am).
This thing keeped on occuring. And then patch 1.3 came out. I pressed update but it gave me this message:

Error while patching ACRMP.exe. Incorrect source file.

Again i just ignored it and closed the game. But after a couple of attempts i decided to post it here hoping to know if there is a way to fix it. I thought about reinstalling it. But i would like to know if there is an easier way.

Also when i am send back to the singleplayer menu i am in offline mode... I don't know what is going on

just uninstall the Ubisoft game launcher.. then again install it from the game dvd.. let it update 1.02 then update 1.03.. there u go with ur game problem free

I am experiencing the same problem here....

My error is -
Trying to get update information to C:\Users\Sreekar\AppData\Local\Temp\ubiE408.tmp.
Found update (Patch, all, all).
Trying to download update file from http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/ac_revela...ns_1.02_eu.exe. Destination: C:\Users\Sreekar\AppData\Local\Temp\ubiE61B.tmp.ex e.
Fatal download error (Connect failed).
Deleting downloaded data.

and then when i click the start game... this error pops up...

Try the last post in the thread below, which I posted just recently. It worked for me when trying to update from 1.02 to 1.03...being a person not wanting to reinstall anything, be it the game or launcher.
