Yeah but as far as guns jamming goes, they should actually jam MORE often than they did in FC2 to be considered "realistic". Without being properly maintained and cleaned, guns jam very often actually. You get a few guns that literally need no maintenance at all, such as an AK47 or most .22s, but other than that there's a lot of jams, chimney stacking, and let's not forget misfires that come with using ****ty ammo.

the guns shouldn't jam more often, guns are more resilient.

Me too... it was hugely frustrating to get a weapon jam just when you have 4 guys in front of you. That's why I liked it - made the game more challenging. Being able to clean your gun at regular intervals might be a good addition for future Far Cry games. But as stated above - it doesn't look like degradation will be in FC3 - although we are several months away from launch.

I personally liked it in single player it made the game different from the rest. It should be left out in multiplayer. If well worked out an option to turn it on and off in menu it would be really awesome.
Weapons from enemy's should jam faster but they should also be maintained, and it would be nice if you just could maintain your weapon to keep it well. Some weapons should also degrade faster than others. But i think it is to difficult to implantate for the game designers. To much work for just an option. But if they want to please their fans... If they won't choose to put it in the game, i understand their choice. Lets hope they put their time in implantating some trap devices then

So 10 people love it vs only 6 poeple hate it.

Really I don't see why it's such a big deal if you swap fresh guns frequently.

Now what should Ubisoft do after seeing this poll ?

Personally I love it but I think it should be an option, everyone would be happy.

I do not want to worry about guns jamming in multiplayer.

Thats the best comment in this thread.... I feel that you are right that whilst the idea was great it was overused to the point of annoyance but to have a random clock ticking for a weapons degradation event say within 4 hours of play so if it happened at 2.5 hours then the next could not occuragain before 6.5 hours later from that momment. then we start another 4 hours random clock added to a 4 hour break and repeat.

But with an option to turn it off for the people who really don't like it

1 weapons degradation event within every 8 hours.... But to be honest I won't miss it if it does not return atall

perhaps they should plan it for a certain momment only and make it part of the game when you least expect it and make you have to think on your feet

    Cool

just in FC2 - the weapon was made in China
Let's hope that the import of weapons in FC3 will be qualitative
