I am having the same problem. As I can post to this forum, clearly my internet connection is not at fault. Are the Conflux, Uplay servers down?

I also cannot log in. I was lucky enough to be one of the people who bought the game during the steam sale this past Friday night and the key didn't work. Now it's Tuesday and I get kick out mid battle of a SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN because their servers went down.

So for those counting, the guy that bought the game has been able to actually play it 20% of the time he's had it, but the people that pirated the game can play 100% of the time. Yeah, this DRM plan is solid...I don't see myself buying another Ubisoft game until they get their priorities straight and stop punishing the paying customers.

Another unhappy costumer that can´t connect to Conflux and, therefore, can´t play his simple single player campaign. Thank you, Ubisoft. I work 8 hours a day and when I get home I can´t even play a computer game I just bought.

If you wanted me to have the hacked version, you should have just said it.

i was playing, became disconnected, exited the game, opened it and patch 1.3 began downloading... im guessing thats the issue...

Yup, same here. But after the patch was downloaded and I could play again, I got disconnected 5 minutes after starting a campaign.

I guess I´ll just go read a book or something.

That's the same scenario I just hit, but not before they let me reconnect for 20 minutes so I could crash mid battle again. Forcing the game to abruptly close so they can patch is poor game design. There is no legitimate reason they can't at least give you the option to save first, or maybe they could actually use the internet connection they insist on keeping with us to send a notification that servers will go down in X minutes.

EDIT: Just joined after patching, and didn't even finish loading campaign before the next disconnect. Awesome.

I actually said something very similar in this thread http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...-2-weeks/page2

I don't plan to buy another ubisoft game unless they can somehow make up for this blunder ...

Oh, tech support got back to me about my issue. It is a problem on my end according to them either av, firewall, or a proxy server despite getting DCed after playing for more then a couple hours ...
