Could someone please inform me on the process of receiving a refund for the following games.

I'd like an answer to this as well, please. HoMMVI deluxe via Steam, specifically. I wanted to play a HoMM game (haven't seen IV), but I'm not interested in paying for a product that I can't play. I'm not interested enough in playing your product, though - there are too many other options available - and while I'm sure Ubisoft and Steam are content with sitting on my money until support can get around to fixing the problem, I'm not. There are too many other games around that work, and I don't have time to play them all anyway.

    Ahahahaha

Ya, good luck with that. Ubi has your money, and they're using it to screw more customers out of their money.
No way are they giving it back. I tried to get a refund for HOMM6 after I realized it was unplayable due to crappy DRM and they basically told me to go screw myself.
Vote with your wallet - stop buying Ubi games till they change their DRM policies. I fully understand that it's important to have strong DRM to protect your games, but that protection shouldn't come at the expense of your customers.

Wow, what a concentrated dose of insipid stupidity, incoherency and hysteria in one topic!
Tell me something, how come I played MMH6 over 100 hours without a single crash and only a few Conflux disconnects(far less than Steam)?

You have to realize that nobody will take you seriously when you blatantly lie like that.

You got more hours for your money than with every other game ever made(perhaps Fallout 3 and Skyrim give more) and you want a freaking refund??
And to top it off it has such outstanding visuals, animations, variety, music, etc.etc...

You should be ashamed of yourselves!
You really have no sense of decency or any kind of perspective.

Now that is an ironic post. Everyone knows this game is terrible and has failed on every level. Steam never disconnects by the way, ever.

But no, you will not get a refund. UBISoft does not care about you or your needs as a customer. They only want your money. I hope you have learned your lesson buying UBISoft games.

Your post really is immensely ironic. You haven't had issues with the game, yay for you. This guy obviously has had issues, just like most of the player-base. Reading your post tells me that you're concluding entirely the wrong things. For one, the guy only asked about a refund. He didn't mention disconnects, he didn't mention which bugs were aggravating him, and so on and so forth. More hours than with any other game ever made? I'd beg to differ, but it's such a blatantly subjective statement that it's almost not worth the bother. The outstanding visuals, animations, variety, music, and so on? All subjective. IN MY OPINION, for example, the game is visually well-done, but the technology behind it is shakier than a pudding in an earthquake.

YOU should be ashamed. Want to know why? The guy asked about the possibilities for a refund. That is ALL he asked. He didn't give you a detailed list of what he feels is wrong with either game, he doesn't provide you with a bug report, and that's fine. You're not the customer service. Yet you somehow manage to extrapolate that he's obviously complaining about disconnects and/or crashes, and that he should get over himself to properly enjoy himself.

Then, to top it all off, you have the bare-faced cheek, the sheer, unmitigated gall to call him a LIAR for it. What in the nine hells has he lied about, Mettyx!?

Christ, I can understand you wanting to defend the game, but at least try to be bloody sensible about this sort of stuff.

You have to realise that nobody will take you seriously when you blatantly bull**** like that.

Now, I'm going to use my context clues and assume you're also replying to everyone else in this topic. Even THEN half the stuff you say has nothing to do with anything anyone else has said. So kindly think your way through your posts before you go on another overzealous rant.

Yeah, the music is top notch! It's not like all the memorable tunes are remixes that can be heard on YouTube anyway.

I don't think Ubisoft offers refunds for digital products. They don't even offer refunds even for purchases made through their own store, as stated here. If you still want to get a refund, your best bet is to post in customer support. Be nice to them even if you don't get what you're hoping for, they're people working at a job they probably don't like.

Here is a cute puppy to make you feel better.
