One cool thing I noticed while pausing through each of the gunsmith stuff was "Match Trigger" which increases default trigger sensitivity for greater accuracy and faster follow up shots. It's about time someone put that in a game.
...so you can't unlock every attachment for every weapon? Don't understand the wisdom behind that at all.
Agreed. It probably won't even matter, because there are inevitably attachments that are less useful than others, but I still don't understand the decision. Also, will we be able to get more than two respec tokens? What if I use up my respec tokens before I figure out which attachments I like the most? Can we level up more than one guy? Like if I want to unlock a different set of attachments for rifleman, scout, and engineer?
That one statement opened up a whole other set of questions for me. I am a fiend for customization, and hearing that I won't get access to all attachments makes me unhappy.
At least attachments are points based so high level people aren't necessarily running around with gear you can't obtain.
Can some kind soul give me an outline of the important news from the video please.
1.) No dedicated servers.
2.) There are a bazillion different weapon combos but you will only have a set number of unlock points for attachments - which means you won't unlock everything for Gunsmith (WTF?)
3.) Standard game size is 6v6 - private matches can be larger and you can have lopsided teams.
4.) All game types are available on all maps BUT Seige is apparently the only non-respawn game type (WTF? x2)
5.) No splitscreen except for Guerilla.
That's basically what I got out of it. There's more but that was the important stuff IMO.
