you will not find game on Ranked Matches, try Player Match and you will always be in game.
im not sure why ppl switched to player match, there are plenty of players there.

Yes and no. For PC there is no actual online pass, but there is a CD key than can only be tied to 1 account. This makes buying used copies almost useless.
