Does anyone else not like the fact that when you replace the equipment on your gun you do not get a refund. So if you were to pay using real money for a scope and put on a different one it just charges you more money and deletes your equipment.

I personally don't like it kind of turns me off the game. Take a page out of WoT and store the equipment I have. I don't like the idea that I can't keep customizing my gun.

To give my honest opinion it feels like the devs are going to try and wrangle of the money out of players.

I would actually like a reason from the devs as to why i don't get to keep my items I "Bought" because I would invest money if it didn't just disappear on me.

As unfortunate as it is, having no refund is not a problem.

Well then u better make sure when u buy whatever you are buying, its what you want. Only way this would be vaguely fair is if the attachments bought via GC were kept but were limited to the weapon you first bought it for.

IMO, If we could store mods or sell back this would cause a few issues with GR:O

1: We would fill our inventory cap faster then we could say WTH!
2: There would be no way to cash sink in-game curreny
3: Everyone would own top of the barrel weapons. Due to #2
4: Once you own all the top weapons and mods games ends you get bored, leave, quit, whine and moan, because you have nothing left to work for.
5: Owning top weapons/gear due to #2 it would render the weapon proficiency useless as you wouldn't be trying to level a weapon up for crit DMG as you got top gear.

Keep in mind this is still Closed Beta. We are working on a system to allow players to test before buying.

I would rather see the ability to unequip attachments and then reequip them to weapons of the same class that are compatible.

Ex: I sell my MK 16 but unmount the Phantom, Grip, and Laser Designator and attach it to a newly purchased ACR. Such weapon accessors couldn't be mounted to SMG's, Shotguns, etc. Only other AR's with compatible upgrade slots.

That kind of solution works well for another Free to Play game I play; World of Tanks (DON'T JUDGE ME WWII TANKS ARE AWESOME OK?!)

Oh, another tanker. I bet you recognize this logo, hmmm? We even have little tank icons on our TS.

And I would like to see swap-able parts between weapons, but it's not a gamebreaker IMO. I usually make enough RP between weapon unlocks to buy a new gun as soon as it's available, and having to play with it stock helps me get a feel for which mods I think would benefit the gun the most.

I don't play Tanks that much, been playing World of Warplanes alpha a lot more recently. The only group/clan I really know for tanks is SGLE (**** goons).

And I also agree that this isn't a necessary component. I too have enough RP to usually unlock the attachments I want as soon as I want, or shortly thereafter. It would still be nice to do this though, maybe even restrict it to weapon variants (like the MK 16/MK 16 SV/MK 16 C).

The reason why that works in World of Tanks can't really be applied here given the prices. Last I checked, the cost of the M4A3E8 was around 660k, and to deck it out with my GLD/VS/Vent combo (Try it, and add the gunner aim and driver aim skills and you get a perfect on-the-move shooter) was 1.6 million, with each device costing nearly as much as the vehicle itself (and I think VS is 600k alone). Even if it's moveable (for a price too!), the cost of the device itself is extremely expensive.

In other words, you'll need to make the attachments on the order of several thousand a piece (if we use level 20 as the mid-point, that's be 12-15k a piece if you want to keep parity to WoT).

Yes, I played WoT, but I left after a few months into release due to a busy schedule. I'm more of an artillerist and I will return once the French artillery is added in. I played from start of CBT in that game.
