Hi guys getting the game come monday morning
its very cheap only 10 euro to get it

played the demo a few years ago before it came out
loved it but didnt greatly like it was going to wait a few months til the price dropped then completely forgot all about it until recently

anyway lke i said getting the game monday morning for the xbox360

planning on joining Europe on Multiplayer

so what can i expect?

is it really dead like very dead? will i be waiting long to get a game? (xbox360)

unit killing (i prob wont mind this but what is it exactly?)


anything that is OP or UP that i should be aware off
is their many friendly people to play with or play against or is the majority of the community that is left abunch of ********* :P

also is it worth picking up this game after 4 years?

umm, yes the game is dead, well not all the way dead, its on life support. The whole JSF faction is OP and every other faction compared to it is underpowered. Few non cheating/booster players left to play with. You could expect a long wait to fight players that play the game correctly, but you will run into a cheater/booster/dasher every 5 min. Units in endwar gain experience threw battles. Unit killing is when a player completely kills the unit when it is defeated thus resetting its experience. My recommendation, save those 10 euros and rent a movie or something.

Well if the forum is any indication the community is in a very poor state as most people here are just trolls, that being said they are all on the PS3 it's been awhile since anyone from the 360 version posted here on a regular basis so I could not say how that community is. One would have to assume it's even more sparsely populated and that platform is where the cheating came into popularity which doesn't bode well for whoever is left playing.

If you do get the game though you may wish to not start as EFEC(Europe) as their learning curve is the steepest and they have the weakest units even if you learn to master them. JSF(US) will be easy to learn the game on but the SGB(Russia) are ridiculously strong even at the first levels and will give you a much better chance agaisnt established players.
But you should do the singleplayer "campaign" first either way before delving into MP the game play is nearly exactly the same you will just get a lot more money to buy unit upgrades from each battle than you will in the online mode.

On the 360? I couldnt tell you. I know its completely dead on PC, and PS3 is following pretty quickly with everyone joining JSF. I would highly recommend not starting out with EFEC though, unless youre good at strategy. Euro cant do head-on assaults because of lower HP. Try Russia. Slower, but can put up a huge fight even at low levels.

Or You can at least play the campaign and then trade the game back though. The TOW is full of people who do nothing but play the game and exploit it.

least that way i can have 7 days with it and if its not active enough il return it , im not into single player campaign games
prefer multiplayer im competitive at strategy games

shame really on your comments considering this game had great potential
kinda glad i didnt buy it when it first came out now ha

Naw if youd bought it when it first came out, you probably wouldve had more fun with it. With the 360 though, you may have a better chance of avoiding boosters and multi-accounts. Im sure no one with a life would want to keep paying for 2-3 accounts lol.

no actually you would have been better of buying it when it first came out, game was playd correctly with easy to find game. More cheaters and boosters with 200 players left than 40000. just sad

If the PC community was alive, I'd play that one again. Only problem there was no 4v4.

I most certainly do not, would rather give apple a $500 markup on an iphone than pay microsoft for their service.
