I've run into a rather irritating roadblock in Gueranna. When It comes time to rescue the Cardinal of the Cloister of Santa Cotillas from Tortuera Ascent, I hit a snag. I arrive in the village and defeat all Sabbatt's troops, but when I reach, the prison, nothing happens. I've sent both my knight and thief to the prison both before and after defeating all Sabbatt's troops in the village, and still can't release the Cardinal. In some walkthroughs it is mentioned that when it comes time to release the Cardinal, a blue arrow will appear over the prison. In my current game, this does not appear. I'm thinking that this is either because of a glitch in the game or I've missed something along the way which has resulted in the task remaining locked, as I know in many of the Campaign maps things have to be done in a certain order. So far I've built up my own settlement, protected it with a city wall, and defeated Sabbatt's troops in all three of the allied villages. Considering that I've beaten this map once before, the roadblock with the cardinal doesn't make any sense. What am I missing? Please Help!!!!!
