    Angry Im going mad, it wont work! :( :(

    Hi all,

    I got my CoD this morning and all day i've been trying to get it to play but it hasnt worked The game will load but when i click on a game, it minimizes back to the windows screen but i can hear it, but but work come on. then i get a pop up saying "Display Driver failed but has recovered"

    Here are the CoD requirements:
    OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows® 7 / Vista SP2 / Windows XP SP3
    PROCESSOR: Pentium® Dual-Core 2.0GHz or Athlon™ X2 3800+ (Intel Core i5 2.66GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 2.6GHz recommended)
    RAM: 2GB (4GB recommended)
    VIDEO CARD: DirectX® 9.0c compliant, 512Mb Video Card (1GB DirectX® 10 recommended) - See supported List*
    DIRECT X®: DirectX® 9.0c or DirectX® 10 (included on disc)
    DVD-ROM DRIVE: 8X
    SOUND CARD: DirectX 9.0c compatible
    HARD DISK: 10GB
    PERIPHERALS: Mouse, keyboard (joystick with throttle and rudder control recommended)
    MULTIPLAY: Broadband connection with 128 kbps upstream or faster

    Here is what i have:
    Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, build 6002)
    Processor: AMD Phenom (tm) 9150e Quad-Core Processor (4-cpu's) ~ 1.8gHz
    DirectX 11
    RAM: 4GB

    All the info i can find at the moment. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Without knowing your graphics set-up it's not possible to advise.

    This, though from the symptoms you describe I'd guess your graphics card is not adequate.
    I note your processor is below minimum spec for clock speed too.
