Heroes of Might and Magic V
First off I want to thank this forum for the offer of help with my game. I need information on how to fully install Heroes V on my new ASUS laptop running Windows7 Home Premium 64Bit. I do not want to carry the disk with me everywhere if possible. I remember having Heroes V fully installed on my desktop years ago. I think it's because of age that I don't remember how to do it any longer :-) Thanks again, Douglas

When you install the game to your system it will nstall the full game. The reason for the game requiring the disk inserted in the drive is because of the game's copy protection. It requires a disk check to make sure that you have a legitimate copy of the game.
The only way to legally avoid the disk check is to purchase digital download versions of games. They only require an online activation for their copy protection.
Thanks so much for your reply. I must have been mistaken about playing the game without a disk. I thought for sure I never had to put one in the drive and I didn't have a digital download. Well, so much for that. Thanks again for your help.
